Touring with Jon Anderson of Yes
Asher toured the United States and Europe several times with Jon Anderson of the legendary rock band Yes, performing the band's classic repertoire to thousands of fans. Asher was featured as the drummer on songs such as Owner of a Lonely Heart, Starship Trooper, and the epic suite Close to the Edge .
Performing at the John Wetton Tribute Show
Asher had the opportunity of a lifetime to perform with rock legends such as Steve Hackett (Genesis), David Cross (King Crimson), Martin Orford (IQ) and John Mitchell (Lonely Robot) at the John Wetton Tribute Show is East Sussex, UK.
Touring with Banned From Utopia (Frank Zappa’s Former Band Members)
Asher toured as the drummer for Banned From Utopia on the We Love Zappa tours. Sharing the stage with Zappa alumni Ray White, Robert Martin, and Scott Thunes was surreal. These are guys who actually lived and played this music with Frank. Every night pushed me to another level, tackling the wild time changes and energy of Zappa’s songs while keeping up with musicians I’ve looked up to for years. The shows, the travel, and the connection with the crowd made it an experience I’ll never forget, and it really shaped me as both a player and a person.

The Asher Blum Jazz Trio has had the wonderful opportunity to play at an event for former PA Governor Tom Wolf , local events at Montgomery County Community College, as well as public and private events.
